Adding a service by phone to Helpper's platform
During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was suddenly an urgent need for helping patients with daily tasks such as shopping, walking the dog or just a friendly chat by phone. The online platform Helpper added as quickly as possible a telephone service to its platform. That could be done because the Helpper platform existed already for 4 years. Through this telephone service, volunteers were contacted and deployed for daily tasks, so care staff could focus on the necessary medical assistance. With this initiative, Helpper built bridges between healthcare actors and cities or municipalities.
