Web-based data analysis platform for faster visualisation of data

Marple, an Antwerp-based tech start-up from The Beacon, has launched a web-based data analysis platform that helps engineers develop complex products and systems. The platform uses big data algorithms to quickly process and analyse test and measurement data.

With the city's financial support, they add an application to their software that makes analysis of large data sets more powerful by visualising the data faster in a web environment. This enables Marple to strengthen its position in the software market for R&D engineers and data scientists.

The project involves the development of a new branch of the Marple Data Analysis Platform. This new 'branch' is the Data Miner, which opens many doors for other features capable of aggregating data from multiple datasets in an efficient manner.

The project can be broken down into two parts:

  • The technology to perform the computations
  • Features that use this technology

The initial focus of this project is on developing the technology, but of course the technology needs to be usable. Therefore, Marple is also developing features that make use of this technology.

The Marple Data Analysis Platform is already being used by customers to analyse individual data sets or to compare two or three data sets simultaneously. As these customers have a lot of data on the Marple Platform, this is a great opportunity to gain more insight through the Data Miner.

Marple has been able to develop the technology, build several features and have them tested by customers.

The Data Miner is now a key USP of the Marple product.
