Now we are ready to take our technology out of the lab and demonstrate the future of chemistry.

CO2 converted into chemical building blocks using renewable energy

Oxylum is a spin-off from the University of Antwerp, based in BlueApp. Oxylum aims to contribute to solving the climate crisis by working on a technology that uses renewable energy to convert CO2 into chemical building blocks, such as formic acid or ethylene. These green molecules can in turn be used in the broad chemical industry and in consumer goods, resulting in net-zero CO2 emissions. With the support of the city of Antwerp, Oxylum will be able to set up a first demonstration reactor and test its product with potential customers.
