BlueChem is an incubator for sustainable chemistry. It is located on the site of Blue Gate Antwerp, an innovative and sustainable industrial area. BlueChem is the first incubator in Belgium that aims at stimulating innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of (1) valorisation of waste and secondary flows, (2) process optimization, (3) the development of renewable chemicals and (4) sustainable products.

BlueChem strengthens and accelerates startups, SME’s and innovative projects of large companies, by offering a number of services such as standardized or custom labs, offices, flexible offices, meeting rooms, go-to-market services, deep knowledge on chemistry, an (inter)national network, financial, tax and legal advice, and more. This way, BlueChem helps companies to reach their full commercial potential.

As a result, BlueChem takes a unique place in the Flemish economic fabric and fulfills an important function in scaling up and anchoring the sustainable chemical industry in Flanders.
