Yarrow is a healthcare startup working on product innovation in the field of wound care. The funding will support the development and production of a prototype wound cleaner. This wound cleaner is a medical device for home care, residential care centres and hospitals that enables caregivers to clean wounds faster and better, enabling faster healing and reducing patient discomfort and pain.

Yarrow provides home wound care expertise, organizes training for nurses and doctors, tests wound materials and makes them available to users. Now Yarrow is looking to market its own products.

Over the past 10 years, Yarrow (under the name Wondzorgcentrum (Wound Care Centre)) has built up a large network of healthcare professionals, giving them a good picture of the sector and expertise in wound care. Yarrow's aim is to market a range of products that facilitate wound cleansing and debridement and prevent wound problems by taking a preventative approach.
